Sponsorship Opportunities for Registry Week (Oct. 16-21, 2011)

In addition to needing 150 voluneers to help conduct surveys, enter data, and organize Registry Week, we need money for Registry Week activities:

Sponsor the volunteer training session dinner on Sunday, Oct. 16

□      $3,000

Sponsor the food gift cards that are provided to homeless Arlingtonians as a “thank you” for participating in the survey (we are waking people up to talk with us early in the morning)- two $5 coupons per person; as many as 500 people = $5,000 needed.

□      $500 = coupons for 100 homeless Arlingtonians

□      $1,500 = coupons for 300 homeless Arlingtonians

□      $5,000 = coupons for 500 homeless Arlingtonians

Sponsor breakfast and coffee for the 120 survey volunteers any of the three survey mornings (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)

□      $1,500 – Monday, October 17

□      $1,500 – Tuesday, October 18

□      $1,500 – Wednesday, October 19

Sponsor snacks and drinks for the data entry volunteers (14 people per day)

□      $250 – Monday, October 17

□      $250 – Tuesday, October 18

□      $250 – Wednesday, October 19

Sponsor bright-colored T-shirts for the volunteers to wear (for identification purposes as well as event participation souvenirs)

□      $3,000

Sponsor printing of survey forms

□      $800

Sponsor office supplies (clipboards, pencils, pens, etc.)

□      $500

Direct Benefits to Homeless Individuals

Welcome kits – $1,000 each (We have set a minimum goal to house 33 people per year over a three year period.  These kits include move-in costs, furnishings, food and toiletries.)

Rental assistance – includes security deposits and rent payments

□      $1,200 = one Arlingtonian for one month

□      $3,600 = one Arlingtonian for three months

□      $14,400 = one Arlingtonian for one year
